Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The second one (also known as Outlaw of Gor), actually.

Oh, right. It did seem like a sequel (with budget saving flashbacks). It's been a while. I think the version they had was just called "Outlaw".

And its existence is redeemed by the sight of Jack Palance in this hat (even characters in the movie can't keep a straight face when looking at it!) and by inspiring Tubular Boobular Joy.

On the other hand, I remember both of these things from it vividly.

Should I bother watching S2? I'm tempted to go ahead and delete the whole thing.

It sounds like you don't particularly want to watch it. So I would say you shouldn't. I'm hedonistic like that!

I bailed early because the VG recaps are funnier and take much less time, but I think if you were rolling your eyes at S1 you may sprain something watching S2.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

MST3K makes up for a lot.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I'm really confused about my feelings for The Walking Dead. I think the writing is horrible, and most of the characters really are too stupid to live. I realized there are only a few people on the show that I actually like. Yet, I'm oddly addicted, and I honestly can't figure out why!

Can you imagine what The Walking Dead would be like in the hands of Joss Whedon and his Buffy or Angel writers?

Bad writing just makes me sad.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Hmmm, The Legend of Korra sounds interesting, but I only just started watching A:TLA.(I just watched the 5th ep of the first season) Hope I won't get too spoiled watching Korra.

You should definitely watch all of Avatar first.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I think Korra spoils the end of A:TLA in the opening credits.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
