I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

How long ago did this "accident" occur?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Frank, Awake, in case you weren't being facetious.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Frank, Awake, in case you weren't being facetious.

No I wasn't and thanks - you didn't reference Awake. And while I haven't seen the show yet, "mummy" makes me think Bubba-ho-tep jumped on a cycle from what you said, which REALLY threw me for a loop whatever the show.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

10pm shows throw me out of whack, and I was totally planning on being a good doobie and tagging my post with the show, and then failed to do so. I was sort of hoping that you were all "ITA, WTH was that?!". But I also may just be a tired arsehole.

That final scene felt like a bad fanfic scene like I might have wrote, because it was necessary but I was bored and uninvested and trying to get it over with.

Art Crawl!!!

You mean the scene with the captain and conspiracy guy?

Does this mean that the world with his son is the real one?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

How best to know what is going on? I mean the captain said something like his whole family was destroyed which perhaps is ambiguous, but if someone said that to me in casual conversation, I would take that to me the whole family is dead.

Is his whole family dead?

If not, it seems like the reality with Wilmer as the partner is most likely to be the real one, but who knows? What if there is no conspiracy after all and that's another thing with his subconscious?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Awake: Do you think the fact that the show has scenes in both versions of Michael's life that do not include Michael is evidence that both are real?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the show is being sorely sloppy about their mechanism. Good lord. I'm losing track. So they're letting him live each day one after the other, but showing them intercut? How are we supposed to keep track of when information goes back and forth? To make sure he doesn't actually bring anything new over until the next day, even though we'll have seen him switch over during the day (presumably with no sleep).

FUCKING MAGNETS.

All is well that ends in pizza.

It's always magnets.
