Have I missed them touching on how incredibly well adjusted everyone is to technology, etc? Or is that something that will be unravelled later?
'Heart Of Gold'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Glad to hear it, the previews looked really good. That is the title my DVR says will be on next Monday, btw. Looks like two weeks before I get that House, but no newer ones in between, so more waiting but less confusing.
Eta: if they explained or even mentioned the curious lack of culture shock, I missed it

The last one that aired had the prisoner from Alcatraz confused at how people were watching something on a phone, but that has pretty much been it.

I think the poisoner's being unfamiliar with online video is the only reference so far. Their ability to navigate 2012 is one of the many things I find baffling. Or irritating.
Also, colloidal silver? Really?
On the other hand, Doc's "Has he noticed he's the only one who shoots them?" was gold.
That cracked me up.
I liked these two episodes; they were different. Having an episode completely on Alcatraz was fun, and I kind of liked that the other guy was enacting a horribly sadistic personal vendetta rather than just, like, committing the same crimes he used to commit for no discernible reason like a lot of the other '63s.
Lost Girl: Kenzie sure saves Bo's ass a lot. Also Bo's face had a wider range of facial expressions, this episode. She added sad face and betrayed face and determined face. The improvement promised is beginning.
Also, one thing I realized is being done very well. The way I know Trick is a badass is not anything he does, but the way everybody reacts to him If he tells fae what to do mostly they jump and do it. Or if they push back you can tell they feel they are being pretty badass themselves for not taking orders. Even the Morrigan and the Ash kind of backed down a tiny bit from him in the first episode. Well done, director - one thing you genuinely are showing, not telling.
That's why Kenzie can never be a Rygel for me. She's truly useful. And she's sweet. Even though she causes her share of problems, she solves more than that, and is consistently supportive.
I feel bad for Bo now, but not really because of her acting. The Doctor did a good job, as kind of did the werewolf (I'm still not clear on his position, but I'm totally clear on hers) of isolating her.
Ben Browder is going to be on Doctor Who ! Let's hope he gets more to do than he did on Chuck. (Thanks to tiggy for the news! I would provide a link, but it gives more information about the episode, so it's probably in the spoiler thread.)
Oh, awesome! Did I know that? I don't think I knew that!
I already posted in Spoilers Lite.
