A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
BTW, it isn't just Olivia who is "remembering" things. Rather, I am not sure she is remembering as much as she is becoming the original Olivia.
Walter is doing the same thing. I think they are purposefully trying to indicate that they are becoming different people (perhaps along with remembering their original lives).
Someone just replied that, "When he was gone the evil queen placed a spell on this universe and now they don't remember who they are."
Grimm:
Amy Acker!
Also, the opening was very Buffy.
I have to catch up with Grimm online. Why the Forces of Evil have conspired to put three of my favorite shows on at the same time on the same night is frustrating.
I'm not opposed to new versions, but I don't want to lose the ones we have.
I do. I had the same assumptions many of you did, that what Peter needed to do was to fix where he was, not leave it. But I shifted my opinions when the show did, and now I really want the other versions back, and for these people not to get subsumed into what we were familiar with. I'd like for them to be their own thing, even if they stop existing.
I should've said I don't want to lose the ones we've had. I do want to get back to the original characters. I thought P-C was saying that we'll end up with a merge of Olivia/Fauxlivia, Walter/Walternate, Astrid/Altstrid, etc.

I can kind of see that. I still wonder what happens with the people for whom the vital statistics changed when Peter didn't exist.

Heh. Baby Henry exists! He's just on the wrong show!

That is what I was saying, yes. I thought we were going to merge the two universes at the end of last season too, though. So I don't know.
I thought it was possible then, but I don't want to go there now.
I'm pretty sure I first thought it was the same two universes, but changed because of no Peter. Then I bought what Peter was saying - that he had to get back to a different universe, his. And now I think it really is the same two universes, but changed because of no Peter.... and now changing because of yes Peter. But I don't know that I think it will change completely back, because how and why. And the creators are so much more creative than I am that I'm sure it'll turn out differently than anything I come up with. I love this show.
I do think Walter is interesting -- he's clearly becoming more like our original Walter, but is that because our original Walter is bleeding in, or because Peter is just having a positive influence the way he did with original Walter?
And then there's Olivia, and who knows.
ETA: No, actually, maybe I think that Olivia's being messed with (and not necessarily because Peter's presence is changing anything on a grand scale) is why she's having life with Peter flashbacks.... but how?
Maybe it's Nina's doing?
If it's intentional, that raises more questions...
