A friend mentioned that it's only going t be six episodes so maybe I'll stick with it.
Really? I see 8 episodes on Wikipedia. Although maybe it's only 8? Haven't had time to check it out, but if it's only 8 episodes, maybe I can deal.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Six, eight ... either would be do-able.
There are 8 episodes. The last one airs March 20th.
FYI - the SyFy Classic airing this Saturday: Jules Verne's Mysterious Island was apparently directed by Mark Sheppard.
I think he's in it too, isn't he? (Why do I bother to ask? He's in everything...)
Alcatraz is really growing on me, and it is quickly becoming one of TCG's favorite shows. Are people still watching it?
I'm watching, sj. It's getting more intriguing, for sure. I wonder what the importance of Tommy Madsen is, and I also now have to think that Hauser never knew Lucy at Alcatraz and doesn't know she's a '63, given how mystified he is about what's going on. I'm not sure he actually knows THAT much more than Rebecca and Soto.

I agree with this. I think he answers to someone else.
He seems determined to try all the wrong things to get answers, too. Like his little think-tank, when he should really be following Rebecca's instincts and Soto's knowledge.
I found "The River" boring.
I shut it off after the first episode.
