I had technical difficulties (sound and video not syncing) through most of Eureka and the first few minutes of W13, so I couldn't quite follow the story, but from what I could see Eureka was really cute. I'll have to catch a later airing.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Please don't hold your tongue! Talk now!
I do have to say, anime!Jack was kinda cute. But then again, anime!everyone was kinda hot.
I loved the episode - I really enjoyed how they had all the animations.
I love when they went through channel changer mode and we got the various animation versions (Charlie Brown, South Park, etc.). I didn't delete the episode, as this is one I'll need to watch again just for all the riffs. Also, pullstring Henry was hysterical. Even more than bobblehead Fargo.
And I'm glad that Jack's truck finally got to voice his discontent with his fate(s).
"Carl", please.
Loved Jo and the bluebirds, and her concern for them after they'd gone. Just lovely.
Have I mentioned the little girl they got for Jenna was about the cutest ever? And very emotive.
Just loved how the whole cast had parts to play and the various iterations they went through.
I may never need to watch another Christmas episode of another show, ever.
That was super fun, Eureka! Oh, man. So bittersweet. I must rewatch; I was kind of tired.
The W13 one was pretty entertaining.
everyone becomes a cartoon character (including Sheriff Carter's much-abused Jeep, cleverly and petulantly voiced by The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons)
Ah-ha! I thought that's who that was! Well, actually, I thought, "Is that... Sheldon??!?" And it was.
Stargate: SG1 arc chart. They map out and summarise all (in progress) the main plot arcs and their occurrence in each episode. Pretty damned impressive.

Jim Parsons was once again awesome! I loved that Zoe was in it! My only upset with the episode was where was Henry's wife?
