Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

you should! i mainlined all of season one and much of season two last year.. it's addictive! plus, being British means less episodes to catch up on.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Adorable Trek cosplay. I like the family one (I have no idea if the pairs are couples, but the first shot they're obviously together) because it's nerd love, baby. Nerds need love.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Random thoughts: Does Norman Reedus remind anyone else of Ben Edlund when Norman talks out of his Boondock Saints or Walking Dead characters? I think they should do a DNA test.

I'm waiting impatiently (as if I have any other state of being) for the next Walking Dead. I have sweaty palms thinking about who will survive the episode though. Right now, I'm good with everyone who is alive. Please don't hurt my woobie Daryl.

Speaking of whom, Norman Reedus is going to be on the next Talking Dead which isn't really casting spoiler since it's being advertised on tv and it's basically a video podcast anyway. I'm a little twitterpated with him right now, which hasn't happened since Jensen started playing Dean, so I know my next decade's obsession.

I think I'll netflix stream some more Farscape. I wish I wasn't a corporate whore, but they really can buy me with convenient and readily accessible sci-fi. Producers take note.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Note that paying for Farscape encourages them to provide more stuff like it -- or at least more scifi, some of which may be good. So if you're going to spend your entertainment dollars, spend it on something good. :-)

Talking Dead also had 'Merle' on last week, I think, and he was great. I'm glad they brought him back to reprise his role. If I were a producer, I'd have a sequence in the next season of Merle and Daryl surviving the first hours of the zombie rising.

That is, if Daryl survives...!
