Wesley: Hey. Hey, Gunn. Is something weird going on? … Charles, you just peed on my shoes. Gunn: I'll be damned. That's weird.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Aw, that was nice of you. I don't usually go into Natter so didn't know there was a conversation happening there.

I'm still not over the whole "WHAT" bit. I can't help but think that Leonard Susskind must have been exaggerating when he said most of the theoretical physics community is now accepting of the whole "yes, the universe is a 2-D hologram" theory because, well, it looks like he's the biggest name behind the theory right now. Or at least that's the impression I got after a 2 minutes perusal of the Holographic Principle wiki page, where I only understood about one sentence out of 10. (Also, because the whole thing makes my head go exploidy).

Uh, topic. While browsing the NOVA page, I found this cute interview with the "science guys" for Fringe! [link]

Apparently Brian Greene showed up on Big Bang Theory at some point. Wouldn't it be cool if he did a cameo on Fringe? Although if it's anything like the relationship I have with House, he probably can't stand to watch the ridiculous science Walter sprouts out day-in and day-out.

Neither am I! Being able to wrap my head around that is now an official goal, so I see a lot of work ahead for my poor, beleaguered brain. I still have that wiki page open, but I haven't had a chance to focus yet, which I know I will need to do, so. And even though I don't really get it, I think I'll start saying, "Whatever, holograph," to people who vex me. Pithy!

It would be awesome if either of the Brians came to Fringe. Or both. Both would be cool.

And on that topic, finally new Fringe tonight tomorrow, yay.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Tonight? Is this because it was preempted?

No, I'm one day in the future, and I forgot. Or I was momentarily confused about what day it is. One of those is untrue.

Sad thing is how long it took me to parse your post -- I was thinking, "Well, yeah, last week it got postponed because of baseball, but we knew that..."

Both Brians, fer sure!

In the webcast post-NOVA broadcast, Greene did a bunch of quick Q&A involving questions asked via Facebook and Twitter. One of the questions was "do you think there is a parallel universe where you are, in fact, Brian Austin Green?" Being a good sport, he of course replied "I sure hope so, or else all this work would have no meaning." Hee!

During the webcast, there was also a boy about 8-years-old, who very politely and earnestly asked Brian Greene to explain string theory in a way that he could understand. Which Greene proceeded to do. At the end, you could totally see that the boy had STARS in his eyes, and just made up his mind to become a quantum physicist when he grew up. It was super-adorable.

Awwww. Do they post links to those webcasts after the fact? I looked (for all of two seconds) and didn't see anything.

And also,

"I sure hope so, or else all this work would have no meaning."

Heh.

I would love to hear Greene talk about the Fringe parallel universes! This would require his having watched the show, I suppose. He should go on Star Talk and do that. NDT just had someone on there talking about the TheBig Bang Theory. Maybe I'll tweet him the suggestion. Hee.

Here you go!: [link]

It's a full hour long and there is no scroll button back and forth, just a pause button. I missed the first 20 minutes so I'm about to watch it again myself.

Poor Walter. Poor Peter. Walter has always been a woobie, but now Peter is too, poor boo.

It would also be interesting if Walternate wasn't the one responsible for the new shapeshifters, otherwise I'm not terribly interested in that as a story-line. Also, what was up with that weird moment with Olivia, Lincoln and the files?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

At first, I thought that the shapeshifter had infiltrated the headquarters, but now I think it has more to do with next weeks previews.
