Maybe part of the curse makes the people in town not question weird stuff that happens?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oops, wrong universe.

Did anyone notice the smile on Regina's face the last two shots of the tree "pruning" scene? she was enjoying the challenge.
(Or there was slash in the air.)
Did anyone see the first part of the new NOVA series hosted by Brian Greene last night? I feel like it should come to this thread, because some of the stuff they talked about, like the Holographic Principle, seems even too far-fetched for a Sci-Fi story. Whoa.
I did! But you know that. I gave you kudos in Natter last night for linking it, and then shared with Cass - well, and everyone, of course. I also blamed you for sending me down the awesome science rabbit hole for hours last night when I should have been writing or cooking instead. You know what? TOTALLY worth it. WHAT.
Aw, that was nice of you. I don't usually go into Natter so didn't know there was a conversation happening there.
I'm still not over the whole "WHAT" bit. I can't help but think that Leonard Susskind must have been exaggerating when he said most of the theoretical physics community is now accepting of the whole "yes, the universe is a 2-D hologram" theory because, well, it looks like he's the biggest name behind the theory right now. Or at least that's the impression I got after a 2 minutes perusal of the Holographic Principle wiki page, where I only understood about one sentence out of 10. (Also, because the whole thing makes my head go exploidy).
Uh, topic. While browsing the NOVA page, I found this cute interview with the "science guys" for Fringe! [link]
Apparently Brian Greene showed up on Big Bang Theory at some point. Wouldn't it be cool if he did a cameo on Fringe? Although if it's anything like the relationship I have with House, he probably can't stand to watch the ridiculous science Walter sprouts out day-in and day-out.
I'm still not over the whole "WHAT" bit.
Neither am I! Being able to wrap my head around that is now an official goal, so I see a lot of work ahead for my poor, beleaguered brain. I still have that wiki page open, but I haven't had a chance to focus yet, which I know I will need to do, so. And even though I don't really get it, I think I'll start saying, "Whatever, holograph," to people who vex me. Pithy!
It would be awesome if either of the Brians came to Fringe. Or both. Both would be cool.
And on that topic, finally new Fringe tonight tomorrow, yay.
Tonight? Is this because it was preempted?
