I hope some day someone does an only-the-dinosaurs version of Terra Nova.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
ha! that cracked me up, Ginger.
Jah-SEE-ka
I always thought this was the pronunciation. And in discovering that I work with someone who went to school with her, I can now confirm it. I also learned that Nicole is actually her middle name.
When Peter popped up in the lake, my roommate said, "Why do they always show up naked?"
My first thought was "well, that makes more sense than falling from the sky".
I kept wondering why they didn't IMMEDIATELY put up a scout on top of the RV to watch for zombies.
It's possible I've been reading too much @WausauLoner.
Also, an 8 point buck is NOT cuddly friendly Bambi. Those things WILL charge if they're afraid or threatened or in rut. And those antlers and hooves will cut you. Why would anyone let a kid approach a wild animal like that?
I was flabbergasted too. This is not a petting zoo, people! Even if the buck had taken fright and turned to run, clipping Carl with a hoof when springing away could have been a lethal affair.
Without stupidity, there would be no horror genre.
Plus - he had his antlers. He could have gored the kid. Also, the buck was weirdly un-afraid. Not a good sign.

This.

I kind of took that as a sign that it had encountered neither people nor wildlife-hunting zombies before. I think if anything other than human beings were zombifiable, we'd have seen evidence before now.
