Willow ,'Conversations with Dead People'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Morgana.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Last night's Who was OK, but it did sorta' seem like Who-by-the-numbers. Reminded me of "Fear Her."

I like Who more when I have no idea what's going to happen. I'd even take last week's River WTF-ery over last night's episode.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Last night's Who was OK, but it did sorta' seem like Who-by-the-numbers.

Yeah, pretty much.

I like Who more when I have no idea what's going to happen. I'd even take last week's River WTF-ery over last night's episode.

I agree.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It stays light pretty late in England in the summertime. I remember being there and being kind of blown away by this fact.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

London's latitude is 51°N. That's north of Montreal.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I liked last night's episode! But apparently it was supposed to be episode 6x04, which would explain why last week's events never even got brought up.

Poor Rory. You know your life has gotten a bit out of hand when your first thought upon waking up in a strange place is that you must be dead!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

zuisa, that makes more sense. You then get foreshadowing of the false baby, rather than "Why isn't Rory reacting at all to the paternal moment?"

Poor Rory. You know your life has gotten a bit out of hand when your first thought upon waking up in a strange place is that you must be dead!

"Again", which, I think, is what makes it art.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'd even take last week's River WTF-ery over last night's episode.

Whereas I much preferred last night's goofiness and running around being chased by monsters to last week's WTFness and rage-making character choices.

I liked the idea of the cuckoo child, and the dolls were creepy in just the right way, and the resolution was fairly pat but worked for me. Pretty standard Who fare, but I enjoyed it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Oh, the end made me cry, I thought it was lovely.

Art Crawl!!!

The guy who played the Dad - who was he? I feel sure I've seen him in something and I just can't recall what or where.
