I'm not used to the idea that there would be US-only content and UK-only content. Just that one would be trimmed for time and/or ratings, but the other one is canonical and contains everything. Now there is no one full episode.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Very annoying.
Meanwhile, MTV has launched exclusive Teen Wolf webisodes - starting today. They are sponsored by ATT and will appear on ATTs fb page 1st.
Now there is no one full episode.
Yeah, that's a real problem.
It's not a big deal, but Torchwood talk should be happening in Premium, not here. Starz is a pay channel.
Does that mean all Torchwood discussion should move to Premium or only the new season?
I totally get the rightness of putting Torchwood in the technically accurate Premium thread, but it just feels like it belongs in Boxed Set.
It's like our little genre baby has been adopted by corporate overseers. But it's still our baby.
Please let's not have Premium content in non-Premium threads. That's the more important distinction. True Blood and Game of Thrones have been in Premium just fine.
I disagree, I think that Torchwood can be discussed here. I do, however, think that we should come to a consensus about where it is, since we don't have any precedent for a show that started on regular TV and moved to pay TV.
I'm on the side of Premium shows staying in the Premium Cable thread.
