Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Please let's not have Premium content in non-Premium threads. That's the more important distinction. True Blood and Game of Thrones have been in Premium just fine.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I disagree, I think that Torchwood can be discussed here. I do, however, think that we should come to a consensus about where it is, since we don't have any precedent for a show that started on regular TV and moved to pay TV.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm on the side of Premium shows staying in the Premium Cable thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I don't watch Torchwood, but I think it should remain here. It will be aired in the UK, right? As well as Starz? I don't know whether they'll be aired simultaneously or in the UK first or whatever, but this doesn't seem to be that different a situation from Doctor Who or how Torchwood used to air. The people who have been watching Torchwood may not watch it on Starz; they may watch it the same way they have been watching it. It seems odd to me to move the show out of this thread. It isn't solely Premium content; it is UK/Premium content.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

In which case the question should be between Unamerican and Premium.

The Premium slug says it's for "HBO and Showtime original programming." If the word "premium" is the important part, and Starz is included, can the slug be updated?

I probably won't be seeing it till it's on Netflix, so the premium/non stuff is transparent to me; I just want to know where to threadsuck in a few months.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It can be discussed in blackfont in UnAmerican when it airs there, no problem. In Premium when it airs in the US no problem.

Whitefont here if it hasn't aired on basic or whatever cable. But not blackfont here until it's been on Netflix.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, it's airing in the UK after it airs here - so not having whitefont could cause issues.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If the word "premium" is the important part, and Starz is included, can the slug be updated?

Done.

Not having whitefont where?
