Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I watched the Eureka season premiere (midseason hiatus premiere?) last night and I am SO happy that this show is coming back. This season (or half-season or whatever) is starting off nice and strong.

(I also watched the premiere of Alphas, and the best thing I can say about it is that it was better than Ringer. PS, Ringer was pretty bad.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yay, new Eureka!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Not surprising. The previews look bad, and he premise doesn't make any sense to me. So there's X, who got into some trouble, so she decides to masquerade as her twin sister Y. Where is Y? Why wouldn't the bad guys go after Y to get to X? Just non sensical.

I can answer that in Spoilers, if you want.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'd be curious. Sorry to hear neither Alphas (David Strathairn!) nor Ringer was very good. Psyched about Eureka (which I don't necessarily want spoilers about).

Alphas wasn't terrible, but none of the characters grabbed me out of the gate.

Ringer was BAD.

Nah, it will be more fun to mock later.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I watched the first couple episodes of Eureka a while back and quite liked them. It's on my seriously never ending list of shows I need to get around to watching at some point.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Not only is it one of my happy-making shows, it comes around at the time of year that I actually need a show to watch!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Given that I only have mental energy to sleep and watch TV, I watched "Falling Skies". Don't have energy for a full, probably TLDR post, but: Pope, worst choice for cook since Long John Silver? If they still consider themselves U.S. military he committed a bunch of death penalty crimes. Not worth the resource to keep prisoner. I'm thinking the effort of guarding him rather than the food he eats. Plus they may be professional military, but are strictly amateur hour when it comes to guarding prisoner. I suspect that Pope can escape any time he wants to, especially since he now has access to knives. He's just sticking around to grab Mass 2's best weapon plus a new gang he intends to recruit. He's charismatic, the commander sucks at civilian relations. Pope will be able to find a few people dumb or desperate enough to form his new gang. I suspect he does not particularly want a dozen. A lot easier to do things his way with just him and 3 or 4 other.
