One thing that got me was when Rory (in full on Centurion garb) was comforting the dying whateverthenameofthosealiensis, telling him he's a warrior, and the alien responding "I'm a NURSE!". More connection there than Rory expected, I bet.
I half expected Rory to say "me too."
I liked that, too.
DCJ, I liked that they trusted us to get it without that.
I almost expected a "Nurses are the warriors," sort of line but like Debet, I liked that they let us get it on our own.
