Centurion!Rory is definitely the sexy that Amy sees in him all the time. I've said before that he doesn't look like much, but he's got it going on, and I think Amy knows him well enough to know that the Centurion has always been in there, even before he lived it. Rory may be Amy's fool, but he's man enough to do more than just admit it.
ETA: I think their love story is one of the great love stories, when all is said and done.
