Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I've read all the whitefont about the current run of Doctor Who, and I still have no idea what's going on. These are the least spoily spoilers ever. I'm intrigued enough to go back to Nine and watch the whole blasted thing, though.
BTW, watched and enjoyed the first two hours of Teen Wolf.
I just watched it, and I am liking it too.
For a second there I thought it said "Teen Worf" and wondered who could take on that challenge.
Sneak Peeks for Warehouse 13 and Alphas.
I am dense. I read all the spoiler font and still managed to miss the details on the big reveal about River Song. Holy crap OMGWTFHBBQ!!!!
Huh. I wasn't the least bit surprised by the reveal this week, for some reason. I was surprised by the previous episode, though, with Flesh!Amy.
Also (and I will whitefont this because I think it was an unintentional spoiler if you watched Doctor Who in America--don't read if you don't want the secret of who shot the Doctor revealed), River is definitely the one who kills the Doctor in the suit. Matt Smith talked about how Alex Kingston was off camera while he was acting against her in an unspecified scene but giving him so much to work with, and it was clear from the shot they showed that it was the moment before the astronaut shoots him. Tears were running down her face etc. I hate being spoiled, so I was REALLY annoyed that they gave that away. But I love the idea of that being Flesh!Doctor rather than real Doctor.
In The Impossible Astronaut right after they confirm The Doctor is dead, Amy says "Maybe he's a clone or a duplicate or something." If he was a FleshDoctor, wouldn't he have turned back into soupy stuff?
Well, hadn't we all predicted that River was Amy and Rory's daughter?
So, that was not a surprise.
