'Jaynestown'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
That's pretty cool.
Ha! That's great.
"He's human, the ring won't work on him!"
I thought Jeremy was wearing the ring when Stefan snapped his neck and that's why he survived? And how Sark was staying alive? Or is it a different ring, or is it something about the timing of the fatal wound?
eta to avoid the triple: WW and 17th Precinct not picked up.
I thought it was because it was the sheriff that killed him, i.e., not a supernatural death.
I'm sad about 17th Precinct.
Damon snapping his neck wasn't supernatural, unless it reacts to who's doing the offing.
Whoa! Well, all that hooplah about WW for nothing. And 17th Precinct was the one that had, like, half the cast of BSG, right? Alas.
"Gauntlet" isn't the worst last episode a series could have. There's room for hope. Unlike, say, BSG or Angel.
True. I definitely wasn't as devastated as the end of Angel. SGU just felt...unfinished.
Damon snapping his neck wasn't supernatural, unless it reacts to who's doing the offing.
I read it as who is doing the killing. Was John always killed by a non human when he would pop back to life? I never paid attention to that.
That's a shame about 17th precinct and WW.
The problem with th ending of Angel is that they killed a couple of perfectly good characters who were my favorites. Feh.
