The problem with th ending of Angel is that they killed a couple of perfectly good characters who were my favorites. Feh.
'Sleeper'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I edited to be more clear about which series finale I was calling unfinished. I thought the AtS finale felt finished, I just didn't like how it finished. Ugh, I have to stop thinking about it or I'll get depressed again.
John was only killed one time on screen while he was wearing the ring and it was by Damon. pretty sure the ring stipulation is that the death has to be cause by a supe.
my only real thought about last night's ep...Elena kissed Damon!!!
On the lips! Woohoo!
TW - complete out on bluray and dvd on July 19th.
Yeah, loving a pretty unapologetic rapist. I just don't get this love triangle.
Perhaps we should be talking about Elena's issues. . .
Wasn't this season of Chuck initially a 13-ep pickup? I read somewhere that if season five is upped to a full season, they'll hit episode 100. Is 100 still the magic syndication number or does that not matter so much anymore?
Yeah that's what I thought too, they got a 13 ep pick up this season but it had the "depending on ratings may up to 22" then they upped it to 24. Considering how lackluster most of NBC's hour-long dramas are doing, I'm surprised they didn't hedge their bets with a 22 ep pick up, but the ratings against Dancing with the Stars are just too low I guess.
