No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

What are our theories on Woman With Eye Patch who appears as if from nowhere?

Well, if Amy is both pregnant and not pregnant, I'd say that Amy is also both dreaming and not dreaming. Probably has to do with colliding parallel worlds or something.

Wait, didn't we have that episode, with pregnant and dreaming Amy who have to choose between realities?

Edit: wow, excellent tumbler, Seska! Thanks for sharing.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Wait, didn't we have that episode, with pregnant and dreaming Amy who have to choose between realities?

Maybe she's... still dreaming!

I'll get me coat

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I just want to note the last episode of SGU last night, since evidently I'm the only one still watching. I like that they went out without returning the crew to earth, on a hopeful note, being brave and letting Eli take the risk. And I do wish we get to find out what happens next. SIGH

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought she was an artifact of the Silence at first, and have not developed a theory to account for her. The little sliding door is pretty ominous.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If it turns out this whole season (or season first-half) is a dream, I will be... grumpy.

Well, if Amy is both pregnant and not pregnant, I'd say that Amy is also both dreaming and not dreaming. Probably has to do with colliding parallel worlds or something.

I think that makes the most sense. If that's the case, I will (probably) not be grumpy.

Heh.

So I wonder what happens to Amy if she gets to the point where she begins to show. How can she show and not show at the same time? Maybe she doesn't show, but if you look where you never want to look, out of the corner of your eye, you'll see preggers!Amy.

Random thought: Amy and River are both good at picking locks. (Evidence they could be related.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I love that 11 can laugh at himself. No longer is he The Oncoming Storm, but rather he keeps trying on new silly names and discarding them as rubbish.

I'm an old-school Whovian. 9 was so different from the previous incarnations, so incredibly damaged by the Time War. Eccleston was brilliant for it. And? Hot. Tennant as 10 made another brilliant job of creating a more-or-less coherent synthesis of 9's damage and many of the traits, quirks, and mannerisms of 1-8. For my taste, appealing and sometimes compelling, not as hot as Eccleston. While I admit to not being especially enamoured of Matt Smith, I love the Doctor. 11 is that much further away from 9's trauma, and that much more the Doctor that I have loved for two and a half decades.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So the Stargate:Universe finale was supposed to be really great last night? What happened?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am Tennant's girl 100000%. But I admired Eccleston's brio and subtlety immensely and I do enjoy Smith. I just don't find Smith at all sexy, unlike the other two.
