I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Well, It's been canonically stated that 11 is number 11 in "the Lodger," and in "The 11th Hour" they showed Hartnell as his first image. He's been shown as the first doctor in most references, and in the first season, the doctor said he was about 450 earth years old.

There are, as usual, some discrepancies here and there.

Or is it just BSG?

Just BSG, yeah. I blame Moore, really: the end of BSG left such a bad taste in my mouth that it extended to much of the cast as well.

As for Callis, I loathed Baltar, and his stint on Eureka didn't make me like him any better, I must admit: the character was sleazy and I thought his accent wasn't very good.

So I look at District 17 with a bit of a jaundiced eye; I'd be happier if someone other than RDM was producing it.

I think I'm the only one who rather liked the finale of BSG.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I despised the end of BSG, but it doesn't affect my view of any of the cast. And I fault my dislike of Baltar entirely on the writing. I don't care whose charisma you throw into the role.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I loved Bamber on L&O:UK. Looking forward to 17th Precinct, but I am wary of the speculation in that write-up about "a long-term plot about the nature of magic vs. science". I very much don't want that.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I think I'm the only one who rather liked the finale of BSG.

I didn't hate it, but I can see why other people did. Baltar was badly written, I agree.

I didn't see Outcasts. I should catch up. Also with Misfits.

Clarification edit.

You are a better person than I am. I also can't read Orson Scott Card anymore, either.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm really over James Callis

Truer statement has not been made. I am over him too. But I wanted his character to die in Season 2. I am not sure I hate the cast as a result of the BSG finale, but I definitely have a dim view of the writers and creator.

Well, Orson Scott Card wrote his books. He's in them. Grace Park just recited some lines. Even if she had a good time, her next role is different.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think I'm the only one who rather liked the finale of BSG.

Not just you.
