Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

'Serenity'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The American accent will take a bit of getting used to, though

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why, then, was I thinking there was foofurrah about this being the last possible? Because of Ten's half-regen, and maybe something else?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Mark.

Morgan. Mark's dad. Who played the older version of Mark's character.

Oh, bless the casting director.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, that's great.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Morgan. Mark's dad. Who played the older version of Mark's character.

OK. It's that sort of touch that separates this show from the pretenders. (Kind of like casting Karen Gillian's cousin to play the younger her.)

“Not dead yet!”

It's what the Moff does.

Oh, does he ever.

Evil bastard. I would love to live in his brain for a while, except mine might explode.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The moment River talks about -- when the Doctor would meet her and wouldn't even recognize her -- we've had that already, didn't we, in the Library? We've already seen her end.

I love the poetry of the Doctor and River travelling through each other's lives backward, but... why does it only work like that, when they're both time travellers? I don't get it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yep.

God, I love those episodes.
