Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does that make 11 the last incarnation? Or do they have to change things so that doesn't happen?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

If it makes 11 the last incarnation, that both contradicts canon (I think somewhere in old Who, the 13th regeneration was shown?) and seems to shoot themselves in the foot.

It's what the Moff does.

Actually, I think somewhere in old Who they said they'd only get to an 11th regeneration, and people were wondering how Moff would write his way out of that.

Wikipedia says:

It is first stated in The Deadly Assassin (1976) that a Time Lord can regenerate twelve times before dying (thirteen incarnations in all).

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The American accent will take a bit of getting used to, though

Why, then, was I thinking there was foofurrah about this being the last possible? Because of Ten's half-regen, and maybe something else?
