Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Is EMT ex-fiance guy ever going to wonder out loud why John doesn't look 8 years older?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah. I figured that's one of the things fucking with his mind since he first saw PresentTimeButNotAnyOlder!John, but he hasn't said anything yet. Not that he's had much opportunity to....

Oh, anyone wanna place bets on if/when EMT ex-finance guy's wife gets terminated? Ya' gotta feel bad for her, but then again in this EP she was annoying....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Furthering reinforcing my crush on Kavan Smith, here's a great extensive account of his Q&A session at Pegasus 3.

I am chuckling that I voiced concern about the SGA producers deciding to kill his character via malfunctioning Ancient bidet about a week before that account hit the interwebs. Looks like it would take more than that to do away with him!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Torchwood and Doctor Who showrunner RTD: "I'm sorry to say this, all the science fiction producers making stuff in America, they are way too engaged with their fandom. They all need to step back."

Art Crawl!!!

Easy enough for him to say: by the time his stuff airs - it's all been shot so what would be the point anyway?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My god. I had a major insight about a Boxed Set show, but I didn't want to come in here yet because I wasn't up to date with SCC. Now I can't even remember which show it was.

Might have had something to do with sex though.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was it anything like my realization that I may like John Sheppard and Rodney McKay so much because they are Booster Gold and Blue Beetle?
