Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Pinkner is already making with the tease (via Twitter):

Suffice to say: we are SO grateful for your support!!! And we have some amazing stories to tell in season 4...

Not to mention this year's finale, which may be our most insane yet!!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I very much need to start watching Fringe. And Eureka. And all sorts of other things where I need to catch up. Anyone watch True Blood? Is it as good as its general acclaim? The Girl is keen to start catching up on that one.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Definitely yay on Fringe, although how are they going to top this year?

(I note that Supernatural is doing fine after having The Apocalypse as its series finale last year, so it can be done, I suppose....)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Cool news on Fringe. I hope season 3 comes out on DVD soon so I can get caught up and watch in real-ish time.

Compassionately intolerant

I bet tiggy says the something similar in re: The Southern Vampire series.

It depends.

They are very different than the show. Charlaine Harris considers them a completely different animal. (no pun, really) Some fans don't love the show, but I like them both.
