Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I saw that at one of the Fandom March Madness comment threads and it made me clap like a seal.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Kiwis get creative after the earthquake to solve a crappy problem

The recent earthquake in Christchurch New Zealand was a massive human tragedy, but even if many homes escaped serious damage, most of their residents have been without water to flush their toilets. To solve this stinky problem everyone has been building outhouses, with some amazingly creative results.

When you consider that the earthquake was just over two weeks ago, and everyone had to improvise using what they had on hand, I think these creations are pretty impressive. The best one of all has to be The The Turdis, a place where any true Doctor Who fan would be proud to do their business.

I don't know that I'd be comfortable with the potty being that portable...

How could you resist the Doctor offering you "all of space and time to poop in"?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How could you resist the Doctor offering you "all of space and time to poop in"?

That sounds rather like the kind of fic I will not read.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Fringe producers have been teasing that Anna Torv would get to play a 3rd character. I did not anticipate how it would happen. That's a hilarious way to defer the next round of angst.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Remember way back when Fringe started, and people were complaining that Anna Torv couldn't act?

Funny. No one says that anymore ...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Although I was kind of hoping it was going to be Jorge Garcia.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Although I was kind of hoping it was going to be Jorge Garcia.

Me, too! I was disappointed he was only in one scene. Here's hoping he shows up again.
