A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

But...all of this has happened before.

This is what worries me most about giving my heart to the show. It's too late, but I am still worried.

There were probably a jillion copies of each

I guess there would have to be but I don't understand it's execution. Did no one ever go up to Chief and say, "Dude...I know this guy that looks just like you." Over and Over again?

I don't know why but I had the impression that the final five were special in that there is only one copy (or very few) of each. They are limited editions. Otherwise it would be nearly impossible to keep any of the other seven from seeing them at some point. But that brings us back to how did they position themselves to be in the fleet...and now my head hurts.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Speaking of, why in the name of all that's shiny don't they present themselves to Adama and get themselves locked up, if they think they're such a threat?

If it were me, I'd not want to risk Roslin executing me on the spot.

I don't think that's ever been explicitly stated by anyone in a position to know. It was implied, and certainly that's what the humans think. But...all of this has happened before. I think the Final 5 are the First 5 (and predate the Centurion models by a lot).

I'm pretty sure it has been explicitly stated by both the human and known-Cylon characters that the humanoid models post-date the first Cylon war. But I don't think the Final Five fit into that worldview - they're something different.

And I'd be very surprised if there were multiple copies of any of them anywhere in the Colonies or the existing Cylon fleet. If there are copies of the Final Five, they're on Earth.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

They're... collectible?

Only if you leave them in their original shrinkwrap.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Now that we know Centurions can identify Final 5 - I don't think it is a coincidence they are all together. It was a precise moment that the Cylons started their attack. Laura was off the planet, Galactica was in air with at least 2 of the final 5 on board.

I think they waited until the Final 5 were in place before they attacked. It may not have been a conscious choice by the humanoids - but a choice informed by the Centurions.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Doctor Who 4.01: ROOOOOOOOOSE!! Oh man, I was *not* prepared for that! And there were several lovely moments with the Doctor realizing how lonely he was without a companion (did anyone else think that "I just want a mate" was sort of a breakthrough for him?) that made my little shipper heart beat faster, too.

All in all, a great episode, and I'm sold on Donna -- thank god she doesn't seem inclined to fall in love with the Doctor, either. But mostly I'm all *wavy hands* ROSE!! She's really coming back! I'm embarrassingly fangirly over her, I know, but Rose was the reason I fell for this show in the first place, and I loved her like I've loved few other fictional characters. I think I actually stopped breathing when she showed up at the end of the episode. How is this going to play out?? How did she get there? What's going to happen when she meets the Doctor again? ROSE!

Art Crawl!!!

I doubt that the "secret compartment" that the cult found was really secret. Connor and crony certainly found it easily enough. My guess is that people just leave people alone and that the crew of the Galactica only intervenes when they are actually in the way.

This piece about the new Merlin show says that the guy playing Merlin was on Doctor Who. Is he from seasons 3 or earlier? Do you guys recognize him?

Episode 4x10

Also, I must be getting old, because yet another barely-legal waif-boy leaves me all "meh", but the thought of Tony Head as Uther... where did I leave that bunk?
