But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I was thinking of the chamber at Hogwarts that appears when Dumbledore's Army needs to practice.

The Room of Requirement.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Because if that's true, how did they manage to not get blowed up in the original attack, and survive long enough to get themselves placed on Galactica?

There were probably a jillion copies of each, strategically placed all over the universe, such that at least one of each had to end up in the fleet. (Although, really, what kind of cracked-out luck is it that two of them worked in the same Dunder Mifflin butt-end of the military instillation! I need to take those guys to Vegas or something.)

I mean, we've already established that this universe is sorely lacking in facial recognition software. Somewhere, on a different ship in the fleet, four other Final Fives are sitting around right now going, "Wait, are you sure??" Except they're in food service so they're all wearing hairnets.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

The Room of Requirement

Is that the name? I was sitting here wracking my brain, unable to come up with the right term. Thanks.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Hah! I love it!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I don't know how official and set in stone this is, but apparently I was wrong about Torchwood - they're on about moving it forward to the early evening slot and cutting the episode order for next series. Boo.

Tigh was already in the military when the Cylon war ended, and there weren't any human-form Cylons then.

I don't think that's ever been explicitly stated by anyone in a position to know. It was implied, and certainly that's what the humans think. But...all of this has happened before. I think the Final 5 are the First 5 (and predate the Centurion models by a lot).

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

But...all of this has happened before.

This is what worries me most about giving my heart to the show. It's too late, but I am still worried.

There were probably a jillion copies of each

I guess there would have to be but I don't understand it's execution. Did no one ever go up to Chief and say, "Dude...I know this guy that looks just like you." Over and Over again?

I don't know why but I had the impression that the final five were special in that there is only one copy (or very few) of each. They are limited editions. Otherwise it would be nearly impossible to keep any of the other seven from seeing them at some point. But that brings us back to how did they position themselves to be in the fleet...and now my head hurts.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Speaking of, why in the name of all that's shiny don't they present themselves to Adama and get themselves locked up, if they think they're such a threat?

If it were me, I'd not want to risk Roslin executing me on the spot.

I'm pretty sure it has been explicitly stated by both the human and known-Cylon characters that the humanoid models post-date the first Cylon war. But I don't think the Final Five fit into that worldview - they're something different.

And I'd be very surprised if there were multiple copies of any of them anywhere in the Colonies or the existing Cylon fleet. If there are copies of the Final Five, they're on Earth.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

They're... collectible?

They're... collectible?

Only if you leave them in their original shrinkwrap.
