Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Seska,

I hope you can do that because I didn't succeed. I am not sure if I will watch the latest SyFy ep or not. It does not help that I am watching the new UK version along side the US version.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm more intrigued by the US Being Human than I thought I'd be -- it helps that I really like Witwer.

What's really strange is that my TiVo insists that both versions go into the same folder, now that the UK version is running on Saturday nights. That's more than a bit confusing!

Art Crawl!!!

I know! My tivo does the same: so picky about some things and yet, this?

Heh. The Guardian used the term "bromance".

brillig

The Brigadier's opinion of Captain Jack would be amusing. And Jack trying to impress the Brigadier would be equally amusing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm finally watching The Cape because my DVR is running out of storage space, and I kind of like it. It's cheesy and the dialogue is occasionally awful, but I still enjoy it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm enjoying The Cape. I tend to have it on while I'm doing something else rather than really watch it attentively, but it has some fun moments.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think the key to enjoying the new Wonder Woman will be to engage in some mental editing so every time a character says "Wonder Woman" or "Diana Prince" I hear "Power Girl" or "Karen Starr" instead.

Well, that and copious amounts of booze.
