Very nice Guardian piece on The Brigadier:
Dawn ,'Storyteller'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Heh. The Guardian used the term "bromance".
The Brigadier's opinion of Captain Jack would be amusing. And Jack trying to impress the Brigadier would be equally amusing.
I'm finally watching The Cape because my DVR is running out of storage space, and I kind of like it. It's cheesy and the dialogue is occasionally awful, but I still enjoy it.
I'm enjoying The Cape. I tend to have it on while I'm doing something else rather than really watch it attentively, but it has some fun moments.
I think the key to enjoying the new Wonder Woman will be to engage in some mental editing so every time a character says "Wonder Woman" or "Diana Prince" I hear "Power Girl" or "Karen Starr" instead.
Well, that and copious amounts of booze.
Adrianne definitely doesn't have the rack to be Power Girl. Christina Hendricks does, but she's way too short.

That's pretty much what I'm doing. Although I find it kind of funny that the plot for one episode's plot seems to be stolen from Kung Fu Panda.
It's not in reaction to Palicki's casting, but the script details I've read. Which makes me ponder whether Kelley has coincidentally "improved" Diana's story for public consumption in a way that is eerily reminiscent of Power Girl, or if this project was originally conceived as a Power Girl series and then he did a find/replace on the names when Marketing pointed out that WW is a much more recognizable brand.
The preview for the next Fringe is fucking chilling. [link]
