Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I think Sam Weiss is not being straightforward. I think he planted the idea with Nina to achieve some specific outcome that really doesn't hinge on Peter, but might hinge on Nina. He is never straightforward!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

If I start this show now, I'm going to be really really confused, aren't I?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Liese,

I would encourage you to start at the beginning. The first few episodes are slow going, but then there is a payoff that made viewing quite rewarding. I think this happens around episode 4-6. After that, I was pretty hooked.

The show rewards viewers for viewing episodes in order from the beginning - generally speaking.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Leise, before mid-season 2 I would've told you to just jump in, but now I'm going to suggest DVDs. It is an excellent show for marathoning.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Liese, I think starting from the beginning is the best thing you can do. I've seen a couple of random later episodes and, while I'm usually a spoiler whore, I would have appreciated them a lot later if I'd seen what I've seen up to now.

Hell, the stuff I'm spoiled for, I don't even understand now.

Is that a Fringe statement or what?

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

My boyfriend and I just finished watching season 1 of the new Doctor Who. What a fantastic show! I have no idea why I waited so long to watch this! Though to be honest, I didn't fall in love with the show until about the 6th episode. I enjoyed it up to that point, but didn't love it. However, I love, love, love Christopher Eccleston! I really hope I enjoy David Tenant as much as I did Christopher.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I never thought i'd love Tennant as much as i did Eccleston. i was soooooooooo wrong!!

And then there's Matt Smith! I was surprised at how hard and fast I fell for Eleven.
