Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Actually, the second and third seasons have been better than the first, IMHO.

Agreed. Those Bad Robot boys have learned a few things over the years. Pinkner and Wyman seem to be a good team.

The first season filmed in New York, so close-ish to Mass anyway.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Watertown? Not so much near any water.

Well, the Charles, but granted it's not exactly a waterfront.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I love that Fringe Valentine, but show IS ON THE LIST.

I am so tired of pregnancy storylines. And seriously: the way we discover which universe gets to survive is which Olivia Peter chooses? Seriously, JJ? Seriously?

t growls

That said, it was very fun to see Fauxlivia and Charlie and Link again, and the airships and stuff. And I am astonished that Walternate has discovered something he won't do, although I suspect that has a great deal to do with the fact that his son was abducted. He has empathy for children (and children's families) that he doesn't seem to have for anyone else.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Honesstly, I've been cringing this whole season everytime Olivia stops in the middle of an investigation to discuss feelings with Peter.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

One of my favorite lines ever from The Mentalist last week:

Cho: "I don't want to talk about your feelings."

Rigsby: "Good, neither do I."

Well, yeah, there's that. Pretty shitty and lazy.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yes. I completely cosign this.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Actually, the second and third seasons have been better than the first, IMHO.

EXCELLENT NEWS!

I can only think of two times this has happened. "Do you still think about her" and "I owe you an apology." The apology scene was a little awkward with so many people around, but I think it was placed there to contrast Peter's blatant lying.

the way we discover which universe gets to survive is which Olivia Peter chooses?

I would be surprised if it turns out to be a simple as this. Sam Weiss is rarely that straightforward. And then there was the Easter Egg in Over There that said, " Don't trust Sam Weiss ."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm convinced this is the most consistent show JJ has ever been associated with. That can't last, can it?

Well, the bar's not high, but they take a pretty decent shift from getting from where they started to where they are right now. The change from original premise of a) Walter caused every monster of the week and b) it's all monsters of the week to get to the epic battle between parallel universes is quite a big one.

Good choice though.

However, looking like love will save the world? Cute on Supernatural. Kinda weird here.
