Happy Valentine's Day from Fringe. (spoilers for the latest episode)
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Jonsey, but y'know - it's Tim DeKay.
OMG, Tim DeKay played Jonesy? Must. Rewatch.
Also, Joan Chen is still damn hot.
Dude, he's amazing as Jonesy. Also, he's in the movie Big Eden, which I love.
Anyone joining me to view Iron Invader tonight?
The crap I will subject myself to in support of Kavan Smith's "hey, it's that guy!" career...
Continuing with the first season of Fringe. It remains pretty awesome. I'm convinced this is the most consistent show JJ has ever been associated with. That can't last, can it?
Also, glad to see they've started using recognizably Massachusetts establishing shots, although when Olivia escaped from being kidnapped, I swear they showed a waterfront shot, and, despite the name, Watertown? Not so much near any water.
Walter and Astrid continue to be my favorites, but this is definitely a show where I like all the major characters.
Actually, the second and third seasons have been better than the first, IMHO.

Agreed. Those Bad Robot boys have learned a few things over the years. Pinkner and Wyman seem to be a good team.
The first season filmed in New York, so close-ish to Mass anyway.
Watertown? Not so much near any water.
Well, the Charles, but granted it's not exactly a waterfront.
I love that Fringe Valentine, but show IS ON THE LIST.
I am so tired of pregnancy storylines. And seriously: the way we discover which universe gets to survive is which Olivia Peter chooses? Seriously, JJ? Seriously?

That said, it was very fun to see Fauxlivia and Charlie and Link again, and the airships and stuff. And I am astonished that Walternate has discovered something he won't do, although I suspect that has a great deal to do with the fact that his son was abducted. He has empathy for children (and children's families) that he doesn't seem to have for anyone else.
