Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm glad I decided to have a glass of wine with tonight's Chuck though. A fortuitous decision.

New Being Human? Do. not. want.

Except that I like the house better and the guy who plays HerrickBishop is sufficiently creepy. They even got a guy who looks just like the guy.

Beyond that? Nah. I'll stick with original recipe.

All is well that ends in pizza.

If I ever get the time and the money, I'm replacing our third outside door with a Tardis shed. mainly because it opens directly into the basement stairway and it would be fun to keep pulling things out of the "shed" on the side of the house.

Especially long boards and such.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I forgot to watch Chuck! Tragedy. Thankfully my DVR remembers things even when I don't, and I now have something to look forward to tomorrow!!!

My very own weeping angel statue would probably freak me out too much, but I would love to turn something into a TARDIS. I really need to make some nerdier/cooler real-life friends; I don't think a single person I know would know what it was.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's brilliant, DCJ! You gotta do that.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw, I loved the Proposal Sub-Mission with Morgan and Casey helping orchestrate the whole thing...although the writers seem to have ignored the fact that California and France are in different time zones. I was really hoping it would actually go off, but of course this show loves draaaaaaawing out everything about Chuck and Sarah's relationship as long as possible.

New Being Human? Do. not. want.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but Series 3 of the original BBC Being Human starts this Sunday evening.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Was waiting to hear what you guys thought of the US version of Being Human before trying it. So far, I won't bother. Let me know if it improves!

Excited for new series of Being Human UK. A friend who works at the BBC told me that (spoilery for the feel of the new series, but no plot points) he got the impression they were going more light-hearted and comic than last series. I hope they still have some of the dark stuff, 'cause that's what makes it worth watching.
