Chuck:
First, YAY! for being back.
Second, with that opening scene, I smell a Hitchcock homage in the offing.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

How wrong I am. Instead of a Notorious reference (unless the wine cellar by itself counts), we get a lovely Danny Kaye/Court Jester ref. Well played, CHUCK. Well played.
Although I like Sam Huntington's Being Human character more than I expected to, I am not really feeling the friendship between him and Sam Witwer. And that relationship was crucial to getting me into the British original.
Oh, THAT'S what my DVR was recording tonight. Hmm.
Ooops. I forgot Syfy was premiering their version of Being Human tonight. Now I need to go check to see when they'll be rerunning it. (They're bound to be rerunning it, right? They rerun everything else.)
Edit -- Oh, they're playing it right away again following the 10 o'clock showing, so I can record that one. Shiny!
It's rerunning again right now. And will be again in 15 minutes.
I agree with Matt and go further: I fucking hated it. The Brit actors are so much better than these 3 and that fact kept taking me out of the story. I'll try one more episode, but I was cringing the whole time.
I didn't hate it, but I'm not totally sold, yet. I'm willing to cut a lot of slack for still getting the kinks out in the pilot
I'm glad I decided to have a glass of wine with tonight's Chuck though. A fortuitous decision.
New Being Human? Do. not. want.
Except that I like the house better and the guy who plays HerrickBishop is sufficiently creepy. They even got a guy who looks just like the guy.
Beyond that? Nah. I'll stick with original recipe.
