A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Anyone else catch Primeval last night?
Thoughts:
Abby just spent a ton of money on clothes, didn't she? Connor's occasionally a bit of a dope (this is not news). Matt's not exactly the hard-bitten rules-following guy he was sold as in the beginning. Becker still needs a first name. And for someone who has already had to run for her life to escape a murderous dinosaur in the office, Jess isn't exactly dressing for the environment.
I thought this was a pretty successfully suspenseful episode, and they're managing to stay on the fence about both Burton and Gideon's intentions. And now we have three new plotlines to follow: "New Dawn", these lost time-travelers (with bonus steampunk, I suspect), and Ethan. That's a lot of balls to juggle.
But very enjoyable. I've been wondering what happened to their stuff. Maybe Abby's brother has been living in the loft and eventually they will think to go there and find him and get their place back.
The last episode I saw had the one guy stuck in the ancient past after the evil ex-wife was killed. When did Conner and Abby get stuck in the past and what happened to that other guy?
That one guy stuck in the past never got home. Or, he hasn't yet. In that same episode, Abby & Connor got stuck in the past, too (though a different one)--they spent a year in the Cretaceous dodging velociraptors and stuff, and finally found Helen Cutter's (the evil ex-wife) anomaly-remote, and opened the anomaly to come home.
In the meantime the entire agency has been revamped as a public-private partnership, with Siddig el Fadil coming in as the computer tycoon on the private side. They've gone more military, with new weapons and (purportedly) better security procedures (although that's already pretty questionable).
Seriously - how long had that dinosaur been hanging out in London?
how long had that dinosaur been hanging out in London?
Which one?
the one from last night? Just since the anomaly in the theater opened, I suspect.
The one from last week? Apparently five years, although it's ridiculous that nobody had spotted it before then.
i'm in the middle of my Farscape rewatch. the Look at the Princess three parter is still some of my favorite eps. however, i'm really itching to get to season three because it's definitely my favorite.
