A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
UK terrestrial hourlong shows are ~51 minutes long, American hourlong shows are ~42.
Actually, it depends on whether they're on commercial tv or not. As the BBC has no ad breaks beyond their own previews and idents, programmes which are scheduled for an hour actually run for about 56 minutes or so.
Misfits was scheduled on E4 for 1 hour and 5 minutes, but had the longest ad-breaks I've experienced in ages, so the show probably only made the 45 minute mark.
The DW Christmas Special airs at 6 pm on BBC1.
Misfits w/o ads seemed to run around 46-49 minutes, depending on the episode.
For us non-cable having peeps, is there a place to obtain the Dr. Who special on the web. I've never had any luck with the torrents, but will iTunes or Amazon have it?
Previous Who episodes have shown up on iTunes in a timely manner, but of course, past performance is no guarantee of future results. Read the prospectus carefully before investing.
"Doctor Who at the Proms" is airing today at 1:00pm on BBCA.
That was a cracking good Christmas special.
Yup, cracking good was what it was.
