A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yeah. I mostly wanted to smack him in the head with a two by four for that. I mean, he KNOWS Gwen was not going to let go. Her tenaciousness and her compassion were the qualities he recruited her to TW for, fer crying out loud.
Absolutely. And she would have hit a dead end and it would have been a non issue if Ianto hadn't gotten involved.
Oh, and did anyone else see the enormous plot hole in that Gwen's access code got her into the facility? Shouldn't Jack and Ianto been the only ones who could get in?

When they were having sex? Oh, they so totally planned to get caught at some point.

No, I mean when Gwen first found the facility on the island. She said that her authorization was Torchwood something something something. You'd think that it wouldn't work.
Torchwood
The whole island thing was great foreshadowing for Jack getting back bug fuck crazy Gray.
The Captain's Blog entry for this episode is interesting.

It's only "getting caught" if you don't want anyone to walk in on you.
And while I agree that Rhys keeps Gwen grounded in a real world, he needs to realize that she isn't working a 9-5 job. And that she can't know in advance when 5 will be 7, or 11, or next Wednesday. Though she should have called him so he could make other plans.

but her job may prevent her from doing that. Better way to deal with it would be for her to call to confirm plans. If she doesn't call, then it's off and he can make other plans.
Re. BSG: Bear McCreary is still doing the music on the show, right? I've noticed at least two distinct pieces of music that sounded new to me -- the disconcerting (and vaguely Middle-Eastern-sounding, which is an interesting choice) dark string theme played when Tigh was hallucinating his assassination of Adama, and the tinkly theme played when Baltar first sees his Camp of Acolytes. One episode in, I'm already chomping on my bits to get the soundtrack.

Well, the version of "All Along the Watchtower" he used was vaguely Middle Eastern-sounding as well. Did you catch that he incorporated snatches of it into the score during the scene with the four of them discussing the Raider's retreat?
Sitar - he's using more sitar.
