'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When he started university? How old was he?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wait, is this Claudia's brother or someone else's? I thought her brother was the adult guy who went to work at CERN after they sprang him from the dimensional vortex or whatever he'd been trapped in for years.

Yeah, that brother. He was off studying/working in some lab. Why would he be dressed like a 19th century gentleman?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That was her brother.

Wow, I'd totally forgotten about him. Was he ever ID'ed this episode, or were we just supposed to remember?

Compassionately intolerant

She called him 'Bro' a lot, but I don't recall it being made explicit.

No, it was explicitly stated at the start. She said something like "meet my big brother, Jeffrey (no actual idea) Donovan" to Pete and Myka.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I believe his name is Joshua Donovan.

OK, I totally missed that.

I believe his name is Joshua Donovan.
That is correct. It is Joshua.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ginger, I suspect your knowledge of the actual CDC may lead to some unintentional hilarity if you ever watch The Walking Dead.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

There almost always seems to be either hilarity or annoyance at anything set in a town you know. For example, five minutes into the first episode of Vanished, they referred to the intersection of two streets that are parallel and went downhill from there.
