Buffy: You tossed that vamp like he was a... little teeny vamp. Riley: You wanna go again? C'mon. I bet this place is just teeming with aerodynamic vampires.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think best friend would have made it clear of the building in that case.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My guess - that she's pregnant, and by the timeframe Rick knows he's not the dad.

Also, Dale totally made me teary.

Compassionately intolerant

This was my guess. Blood tests. Yeah.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My guess - that she's pregnant, and by the timeframe Rick knows he's not the dad.

Ooh, I didn't think of that!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

zuisa!

Patsy is totally forgettable, you're right,

Actually, I never much liked her - a little bratty, changing loyalties...but thinking about it now, however much later, she was really a bit of a pragmatist - she was little, she joined up with people to try to keep safe, then she totally came through as a spy in the end. She's really got more layers than I think I gave her credit for on first watch.

And Patch was also supremely nerdy, blond, and in love with Dee, who wins my award for worst outfit in all 5 seasons. They were both only in season 4, I think.

I remember Dee (you're right about the atrocious outfits, every last one, and talk about Thick Accents!) and now you talk about him I remember who Patch is, but I can't picture a face. I seem to remember liking the character.

You are definitely not wrong about the abundance of pretty men in the cast.

I'm sayin' - Lex was never a favorite character (selfish little bastard), but easy on the eyes...Bray, Jay...there was a lot of pretty there.

Now that I think about it, the episode I stumbled upon initially must have been season 2 or 3, but it was Lex and Tai-San arguing about their wedding and my two thoughts were 1: These two seem awfully young to be discussing marriage plans, and 2: WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE MAKEUP.

I'm pretty sure I found them early in Season 2 (before that particular wedding), but yes, that would be my reaction as well.

In other news, I am still horribly distressed from last night's Doctor Who viewing. I really need to stop allowing fiction to turn me into such a mess.

I hear you. I couldn't remember the episode from the name so I looked it up and got all choked up from reading the recap. Love my Doctor!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did you people know there was a Eureka Christmas special on tonight??

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Right after the Warehouse 13 special?

JenP - Dec 07, 2010 4:37:13 pm PST #15216 of 30001

I knew of the special but not the date. (I'm tired of not having a TV. I watch everything late and online. I gotta get me one of them talking boxes. Again.)

Yay for new Eureka!

ETA: I did NOT know about the W13 special, though!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Before, I think. It's on at 9, Warehouse 13 appears to be at 10.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It'll be on again after, also, according to my onscreen guide. Which is good, since I could've sworn I told the DVR this morning that it needed to record Eureka for me, but it defied me.
