Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Jack's only met up with 10 at the end of S3 and S4
Aww, so is Jack not in season 2 at all?
I still love their showdown/conversation in "Utopia," when 10 is explaining exactly why he left Jack behind in S1.
Yeah, that was good. I enjoy 10 being weirded out by Jack's immortality, and Jack getting in 10's face to challenge him on being left behind.
Aww, so is Jack not in season 2 at all?
Sad, but true. A major source of disappointment. All things Doctor go better with Jack.
They can't have watch dogs, the barking would be a dinner bell. And the zombies would eat the dogs.
yeah, you are right about that. twine still works.
le nubian: thank you so much for the TARDIS socks pattern. Now I know what I'm making for my close friends for Christmas.
and then the little cameo at the end of S5, right?
OK, back from lunch so I can read ita's whitefont.
This was at the end of the fourth episode of 2009, right? (There were only four episodes that year.) In my mind, that's season 4.5 or something, and the first season with the 11th doctor is season 5. iTunes agrees with me about season 5, fwiw.
Really? I always thought of the batch of movies as S5, and 11's first season as S6.
I read somewhere they took most of 2009 off, to allow time for the new showrunner and Matt Smith to get up to speed. IIRC they were saying that wasn't a regular season. But I don't know what the official BBC word is on the last season (i.e. 5 or 6).
eta: iTunes lists the episodes of 2009 as "The David Tennant Specials vol. 2."
