A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well, this is fun!

‘Doctor Who’ takes time trip to Utah

[link]

“Doctor Who,” the BBC drama series about an eccentric time traveler who regularly saves the universe, started a three-day shoot in Monument Valley on Wednesday.

edit: Warning, casting spoilers in the story.

Unfortunately I can't make the trip down there.

Also re: Dr. Who in Utah, the only comment on the story is from someone with the user name Cult_of_Skaro.

And there's a nice picture of the Doctor in Stonehenge.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw, man, Mako died in the middle of Avatar? I knew he'd passed away, but I didn't realize it was while he was doing the work.

Yeah, it's sad. One of the stories in "Tales of Ba Sing Se" is dedicated to him, and I think, but I'm not sure, that you can hear the replacement voice actor in some scenes. He does a passable imitation of the voice, but he obviously lacks the age and gravitas that naturally comes from Mako.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, that's the episode I was watching.

Ah, yeah, I checked the Wikia, and you can hear Greg Baldwin in one line. I think it's when he meets the kids playing ball. You may not have noticed it initially, but if you go back, I think you'll be able to tell.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I LOVE "Lost Girl." The writing is a tad uneven, but I am so entertained. The sidekick is seriously irritating but they might be toning that down some.

Compassionately intolerant

I like Kenzie's wing-nuttiness...and her interplay with Dyson's partner. Dyson and Trick are sooo grave, Kenzie lightens up the place.

I was gobsmacked by the reveal of who Trick really is and am fairly certain that he is also, Bo's father .

Can't wait to see who they get to play her mom .

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

bonny, you sure about that? that's an interesting guess. I never thought that at all, but I'm certain he knows who her father is.

Kenzie drives me absolutely crazy. You probably liked Dawn too, right? There's a certain kind of oblivious, self-centered fictional character type that drives me apeshit. When you add poseur and reckless to the mix, I want to choke someone.
