Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw, man, Mako died in the middle of Avatar? I knew he'd passed away, but I didn't realize it was while he was doing the work.

Yeah, it's sad. One of the stories in "Tales of Ba Sing Se" is dedicated to him, and I think, but I'm not sure, that you can hear the replacement voice actor in some scenes. He does a passable imitation of the voice, but he obviously lacks the age and gravitas that naturally comes from Mako.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, that's the episode I was watching.

Ah, yeah, I checked the Wikia, and you can hear Greg Baldwin in one line. I think it's when he meets the kids playing ball. You may not have noticed it initially, but if you go back, I think you'll be able to tell.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I LOVE "Lost Girl." The writing is a tad uneven, but I am so entertained. The sidekick is seriously irritating but they might be toning that down some.

I like Kenzie's wing-nuttiness...and her interplay with Dyson's partner. Dyson and Trick are sooo grave, Kenzie lightens up the place.

I was gobsmacked by the reveal of who Trick really is and am fairly certain that he is also, Bo's father .

Can't wait to see who they get to play her mom .

bonny, you sure about that? that's an interesting guess. I never thought that at all, but I'm certain he knows who her father is.

Kenzie drives me absolutely crazy. You probably liked Dawn too, right? There's a certain kind of oblivious, self-centered fictional character type that drives me apeshit. When you add poseur and reckless to the mix, I want to choke someone.

Take that BACK. How dare you!! (snicker)

I think the fact that I know a couple of people in rl who present themselves in that way form a genuine quirkiness saves Kenzie from falling onto the poseur pile for me. Reckless? Except for the 'bucket list' stuff of the last episode, I see her making more rational choices than Bo!

Am I sure about Trick? I think so. At least I'm placing my bet. Time will have to tell, but I've got a strong feeling about this. In fact, I'll go a step further and say that I predict that the reason she is so 'important' is that she is the heir to the Blood King and the reason everyone wants her to choose a side goes deeper than 'that's the way it's done'. If she chooses for the family business, light prevails. If not, WAR .

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I really want to watch Lost Girl now!!

Additionally, I'm now 8 episodes into Doctor Who and I absolutely adore it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

bonny, that is interesting! nice theory. but I would go one step further...

I thought her mother was dark and father was light. so I thought her birth was "forbidden." Perhaps the additional reason was her father is the blood king, but who knows? He has been alive a long time, so he must have other children, yes?

le n, that is what I was thinking, sides-wise. Given the way politics is beaten into the ground in each story, I'm going with power war over 'forbidden outcast child.' Plus, talking about the mother as if she should be feared = power, in my mind .

But I could see how it could go that way.
