A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm watching. I loved "soooo, I'm a werewolf". "Yes, he is very handsome". I loved Mitchell's speech about how she wasn't alone, that she had them.
I still hate Annie, and I pretty much FF or go to the kitchen whenever she has scenes without the others. I also have some issues with her getting a job - she's dead, who's getting paid? (unless it's a cash bar job, which is possible, but it should have been addressed). I don't like stupid people, and she's an idiot for not realizing that the guy was a con man. And I am steeling myself for the inevitable drama when EVERYONE WITH A BRAIN knows and she gets upset that everyone "hates" him. (also loved the throwaway from the barman when they left)
Being Human. Annie has always been portrayed as not-too-bright, but this is sit-com levels not-too-brightness. Slapstick. Which does not go well with darkness.
Also George is now officially a dick. They have been having troubles for a month and he's already threatening to leave Nina? Plus he cheats on her.

George has done dickish things certainly, and I don't excuse the cheating at all, but he continued to make a valid point (based on the information that he had at the time) - if she was having so much trouble with what was happening, then why was she still with him? From his point of view, it seemed incredibly passive aggressive to complain about a situation constantly, but not do anything about it. He was truly hurt when he talked about how she flinched everytime that he touched her.
George just breaks my heart, over and over again.
bonny, by TB do you mean True Blood? That belongs in Premium, not here.
Glerg. Of course. I was rewatching in the background and had a spasm.
Will move now...and maybe, after 6 or so MORE years, I'll get the proper posting thing down.
I had a lot of problems with Annie's behavior at the bar too. I get that she's all giddy at the possibility of getting out of the house and interacting with other people, but the fluttering and spazzing and taking total strangers home to use the phone...
And Nina does have a lot of adjusting to do, and George doesn't seem to be going out of his way to help her do it. On the other hand, she's still trying to view the world in black/white terms, and that just won't work any longer - that whole bitch fit she was throwing at the end about them helping what's-his-name get out of the morgue... what the hell else did she expect them to do? She kept overlooking the fact that he wasn't really dead!
So what is the creepy mad scientist guy trying to do? Just study paranormals, or exterminate them?
I think that he thinks that he has a mandate from God to fix them.
