Eureka: I really don't buy the argument that telling people about the time travel is some big destabilizing problem. Of course, it makes perfect sense from a storytelling pov, but no logical sense at all.
And what exactly do they plan to do with Grant, who has no identity in the present?
I feel bad for Jo, but hey, now she gets to ditch the (fairly unattractive) uniform for civvies, so go her. Not loving Vincent's new look, though.

Yeah, considering what a nice law enforcement uniform does for a good masculine figure, it does the opposite for a good feminine figure. Jo rocked the stylish business look.
And as for questions about Global Dynamics having a head of security before, well, they have always had security, so presumably their security department had a head of some kind (not ruling out a head in a jar, Futurama-style). It is somewhat odd that they have never shown Jack having to communicate with that head of the security department, going instead through Stark or Alison to deal with GD's security people. So anyway, even though the head of security was never on screen, there had to have been one, and to give that job to Jo as a way to keep her security brilliance in Eureka, it makes sense.

So I've been watching earlier seasons of Doctor Who.... Originally I didn't like the 9th Doctor that much and stopped watching. Now he's grown on me, but I still like 10 and 11 more.
Oh, I totally love the "School Reunion" episode, as it has evil Giles, Sarah Jane Smith and K-9 - such a fun, yet kinda' sad episode.
I have a question about Torchwood. Is it completely independent of Doctor Who (I mean once it gets started)? Or are there crossover episodes or events? And if so, what season of Who corresponds to the first season of Torchwood?

Torchwood's first season is set after the Ninth Doctor's season. It's mostly independent, but there are a few crossovers here and there.
