A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
ita, I thank you for that photo. I know Primeval is actually kind of terrible, but I find it charmingly terrible (except when the characters are TOO STUPID TO LIVE). Plus, that character is somewhat endearing. Although
it's going to be hard to reconcile this new look on Connor after three seasons of Connor as the dork. It's not like they gave him much character development, you know?
I think we have
SyFy's Alice to thank for this.
You could be right about that, Consuela. He was much hotter in that.
Well, he actually connected with the other characters. In Primeval, nobody connects with each other.
And they're almost all Too Stupid To Live. Remember the episode where
Connor protected them from monsters coming out of the anomaly by piling up empty cardboard boxes around it?
That was brilliant.
Okay, I watched the 'making of' for series 2 of Primeval and was predictably charmed by Andrew-Lee.
Would making the effort to acquire a season be worth it, or did I see the best bits in the documentary?
I bet you probably did see the best of it in the documentary. If they were very short.
It seems like a happy group of folks, having fun doing something they enjoy.
While I love to see workplace satisfaction, this does not a good viewing experience ensure. Sooooo. Dunno.
Then again, I was pretty riveted by that Canadian series with the big squidly creatures and the cuddly baby-dragon character...so my taste can be easily assailed.
Don't think I know that one, bonny.
