Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

'Hell Bound'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was hoping it was going to show up On Demand, but bo such luck. It wasn't a very good show, but I'd still like to see how it ends.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Over on LJ is there's a list of The 10 Most Disappointing Female Characters in Sci-Fi TV. As you might expect, in the comments people get protective about their favorites.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have a hard time disagreeing with any of those. There are some that aren't bad, per se, but could have been so much more.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Martha Jones?!?!??!? Really?

I mean, I know the unrequited thing was a bit sad, but she did come into her own by the end. Hell, I miss Martha and hope she turns up on Torchwood when it comes back.

Also, not sure why the Doctor's daughter is in there. One off characters shouldn't be included.

Sadly, I can't find it in myself to make a case to defend Dawn, but I do think that's unfair.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I finally figured out what I didn't like about this Doctor. He's not nice. When they were leaving the museum in the beginning, he shoved Amy, and not in a nice or fun way.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I thought Three and Five were very nice, with the latter being fairly gentle too.
