the fact that it related to the crack gives me a smidgen of hope
Ima going to hang on to this!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

My suspicion is that the erasure will be undone, but Rory will remain dead (since he was actually dead before being erased). Which of course would be the most painful outcome.
We sure Minear hasn't had a hand in this?
Apologies in advance: Alas, poor Rory, we hardly knew ye.
Lord, that was traumatic. What's he going to do with the ring? And curse you, Doctor, for not being a quicker draw on the sonic screwdriver.
And curse you, Doctor, for not being a quicker draw on the sonic screwdriver.
I KNOW! RIGHT!
DW UK:
I'm gonna have to quote Frank, on DW US: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
They killed erased Rory The universe! You bastards!!!
Seriously, they can not leave me like this. This ep was so sad and so beautiful and so wonderful, but they cannot do this, dammit!
Also. How come the fire from the torch in front of the Dalek's thing didn't disrupt its sensors?
So sad. I thought that when Amy will be dead the universe will go back to order, somehow.
Oh, man. I cannot wait till next week.
Who UK: it really was an absolutely stonking cliffhanger, probably the best yet. Hats off to Steven Moffat for playing on such a grand scale and pulling it off. I only hope the second part isn't a letdown... .
And the scene with the Doctor on the rock, shouting at the bad guys in the sky? Oh my. If Matt Smith hadn't already entirely won me over already by now, that would have been the point at which I capitulated .
Oh, Fiona, yes: THAT scene. YES.
UK Doctor Who: I am speechless. There are no words. Now that I'm thinking back, no element of that was particularly amazing in isolation (except River's Doctor, facing down entire races of attacking aliens in starships full of weapons. That and the timey-wimey with the Doctor going *into* the box). But my goodness - what an episode in combination. Eleven as witty as ever ("Cyber-arm. Arm of Cyberman") even when facing mortal danger. Amy and Rory adorable and tragic and the ongoing Minear-ing of the writing very WTF. The Doctor's final speech from the box, at his most desperate and emotional since Eleven's beginning. (Are they going to pull a Jack here? River getting him out of the box in 2000 years or so?)
Fiona: That's my biggest worry now. ALL of the new Who two-parter finales have been fantastic in part one and a complete let-down (for me) in part two. They must not do that to me again, 'cause this was just too good. I will cry.
Shir: Whether alive or dead, I think Amy's encounters with the Doctor might have to be rewritten from childhood onwards before things can be back to normal. If they're going to go back to normal at all. That resolution might be too obvious and Donna-like, though. So p'raps not. (I'm good at this speculation thing.)
UK DW - Seconding everyone's cries of 'NOOOOOOOO' for Rory. Poor dead plastic Rory.
Also though, does anyone have any thoughts on how Amy fits into the whole destrucion of the Tardis? And why her life doesn't make sense? I feel like that's still separate from the alliance using her memories to trap the Doctor. Unless I missed something, which is eminently possible.
Jars, I have a feeling that the Alliance is being used in much the same way they thought they were using Amy.
