A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

Who UK:
Another moment I just loved from this week...
during the headbutt of telepathy, when Craig starts to cotton on, the Doctor points at his own face and declares, "Eleventh."
I wanted to squee right out loud,
Yes dear. Yes, you are and I for one and thrilled about it.
I'm superspoilerparanoid, Daniel. Sorry!
S'OK, Better to be safe...
They've done the
parade of Doctors a few times this season. I wonder if it's something that Moffat just really loves or if it's going somewhere.
Debetesse, this is my question too. While it hasn't happened in the last couple of episodes the
I'm so old and worn out
lament makes me wonder if something isn't up. The
nostalgic retrospective, over and over again, isn't helping
!
On the meta-reasoning thing above: The Doctor-lite/companion-lite episodes aren't actually much about giving the actors a break, so much as they are about condensing the shooting schedule -- it allows them to save a week here or there, and get the series in quicker and cheaper. Thus, while the Doctor's shooting scenes for a companion-lite episode, the companion is shooting scenes for another episode entirely, with the second unit. No production company niceness involved. It's actually all about milking their time. (:
Okay, this is something that keeps startling me when I see it on the road--what is *up* with this incest threesome Vampire Diaries billboard? I mean, they're totally going there, aren't they? At least put nail polish on her hand. That is
her
hand, isn't it?
If that's supposed to be Damon's hand, he's double-jointed in addition to being a vampire. (In fact, I don't even know that double-jointed would cover that...)
They'll probably never go there on the show, but they're leading the fans there for sure. (I'm fairly certain Damon and Stefan have already been there, to be quite honest...)
I had to carefully check the positioning of the fingers because it's not the most feminine of hands, and they really don't seem to care.
They really don't. It's kind of awesome.
