A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Kate, I have to agree whole-heartedly with your assessment of
Amy. I loved her in the beginning, but am finding the character uninteresting and the actress fairly limited
. I'm not sure if it is
the writing, but Amy's initially fun quirkiness has settled into a range of 2-3 facial expressions. I like her playfulness with the Doctor, but, except for her performance in the Angels episodes, I'm just not feeling her.
I might have to blame too much Confidential. The
less I saw of her, the more I liked her. With the interviews and such, not so much
.
I also loved
the biscuit line...and the boss's reaction.
The Doctor just can't help
making people fall in love with him
!
Billie Piper and Matt Smith in a scene together:
Dude, if that's a Who thing I don't think its aired in the US.
Dude, if that's a Who thing I don't think its aired in the US.
Not even remotely connected to Who.
AWESOME. I shall now go watch it!
What Bonny said, and editing to mention it.
More DW UK: I think one of the reasons 11th is so likable is that he's fine with laughing at his own expanse. Well, that, and now that he's also a great cook. I may feel the sudden urge of writing love songs during classes soon, let me tell you that.
And in that Billie Piper and Matt Smith in a scene together: awww. He almost looks human there.
Who UK:
Another moment I just loved from this week...
during the headbutt of telepathy, when Craig starts to cotton on, the Doctor points at his own face and declares, "Eleventh."
I wanted to squee right out loud,
Yes dear. Yes, you are and I for one and thrilled about it.
I'm superspoilerparanoid, Daniel. Sorry!
S'OK, Better to be safe...
They've done the
parade of Doctors a few times this season. I wonder if it's something that Moffat just really loves or if it's going somewhere.
